Financial health

We do not score finances when yearly spending is very small or the return has too little detail. The ratios stop meaning much at that size.

Governance

This organization files the short tax form, which does not ask about boards, policies or audits. That is normal for a small charity and is not a mark against it.

  2. Continued from Part III...exposing their work to a larger audience. Nine commissioned essays on their work were published in ASAP Review a feature of our organizations journal in spring 2026. We also supported graduate student research with workshops dedicated to their research; we awarded grants supporting travel by students and by itinerant faculty. The conference was organized and supported by more than a dozen volunteers working at every level from the solicitation and selection of proposals to staffing the welcome desk and ensuring that events flowed smoothly.
