Programs described in its return (2)
- $21.9 million spent. The Center continues to offer permanent supportive housing and wraparound case management services for its participants. Over 1,700 payments per month are provided to private market landlords to provide housing for its participants, including other direct client support such as utility assistance, food, and transportation.
- $18.5 million spent. CHH continued its work as the administrator of the innovative Flexible Housing Pool of Chicago and Cook County. This is a multi-agency partnership with numerous health care organizations, public entities and philanthropies that helps people experiencing homelessness who cycle through public crisis systems reach permanent housing. As a result of the program, over 1,000 people who experienced homelessness now have safe homes.
