Rocky Mountain Cocker Rescue
Public records show a registered, tax-exempt organization in good standing.
What it says it does
We are an all volunteer organization dedicated to rescuing cockers, cocker mixes and other spaniels, that have been mistreated, neglected, abused, abandoned and experiencing homelessness. RMCR places these dogs into pre-approved foster homes and provides medical care, training, obedience and behavior modification as needed. We have never said no to a cocker in need in or near Colorado including those who need major surgeries, e.g., eye removals, TECA, and severe dental disease. The dog is then successfully adopted and placed into an approved forever home.

Programs described in its return (2)
- $144,173 spent. Our veterinarian care program is our largest expense as every dog we rescue is seen by a licensed veterinarian. Upon intake, every dog is vaccinated, Heartworm tested, sterilized, microchipped. Health conditions may include hernias, mammory tumors, decayed teeth and severe gum disease along with infections to the skin, eyes, ears and more. Cockers are prone to infected eyes and scarred ears, often due to prolonged infections that were untreated.
