What it says it does

AAPdN's mission is to serve the public welfare by preparing and furnishing lists of its members who have demonstrated competency via peer review and examination to proper persons and agencies, and advance the field of pediatric neuropsychology with workshops and training to improve clinical practice with continuing education units approved by the American Psychological Association. We aim to provide a welcoming presence and forum for professionals from multiple disciplines to interact and colloborate for the benefit of children and youth. The Academy also publishes a peer-review scholarly professional journal focused on advancing science and improving clinical practice in the field, the Journal of Pediatric Neuropsychology. Additional activities and initiatives are undertaken to support the above goals and serve the needs of the pediatric neuropsychology community.
