Governance

This organization files the short tax form, which does not ask about boards, policies or audits. That is normal for a small charity and is not a mark against it.

Impact evidence

Describes programs. Its tax return describes what it does but we have found no measurable results in it.

Programs described in its return (2)
  1. $50,102 spent. We are working with four schools in very poor neighborhoods in Tijuana, Mexico. Our non-profit has a scholarship program for 43 elementary, junior high, and high school students. Without this program, these children would be unable to attend school. The students receive a scholarship to help with tuition, books, uniforms, medical insurance, bus transportation, and laptops.
  2. $9,252 spent. We have a specialized, Mexican staff that teaches children academic music. We have a general choir. We have a small group of children with special needs that play hand bells, guitars, and other instruments. We also have a select choir for gifted children. We have an instrument band, which is something entirely unheard of in East Tijuana. And we have an adult choir. The choir has sung in churches, alcohol and drug rehabilitation centers, and orphanages.
