Impact evidence

Describes programs. Its tax return describes what it does but we have found no measurable results in it.

Programs described in its return (3)
  1. $267,607 spent. On rejuvenating our Network, in October 2025 FAN held its third annual Franciscan Justice Leadership Conference with 150 participants, half of them young adults aged 18-30. The Conference is a major event bringing together college students, Franciscan Justice Circle members, and members of religious congregation for formation, training in nonviolence, and peaceful civic participation. Each year the number of participants and the number of colleges sending groups grow.
  2. $90,575 spent. On grassroots mobilization, in 2025 our network grew to 27 local affinity groups called Franciscan Justice Circles across the United States. Throughout the year, FAN received more than 900 inquiries about joining Circles, and saw a marked increase in the average number of members in Circles as well as the extent of advocacy activity by Circles.
  3. $53,521 spent. On faith-based public policy advocacy, in 2025 FAN constituents became more active, particularly on environment, immigration, and poverty alleviation measures. FAN held more webinars educating our members about such issues, and also offered them many occasions of prayer and meditation to prepare for advocacy rooted in the gospel and Franciscan tradition.
