- $23,067 spent. KYAC Community Radio is on the air 24-7 with locally produced music shows by local volunteer DJs. We play a wide variety of music to meat the local demographics taste. We produce several regular weekly public affairs programs and interviews of community leaders. KYAC serves a rural community area of 15,000+. KYAC is working to expand our signal into Detriot/Idanha area. KYAC also serves the emergency broadcaster in our area which helped save lives during the 2020 wildfire.
- $15,484 spent. Art & Music: Regular events & activities are held in historic Stewart's Hall including community chorus, KYAC music concerts and art activities. The Santiam Canyon Community Chorus held weekly chorus practices and had several public performances during the year. Art Mart held monthly art fairs with local vendors filling the available space. Community dances including instruction, for all ages, were held from fall to spring. The KYAC community concert series held 8 acoustic concerts with a large appreciative audience for each concert. All activities were well attended and supported by the community.
