Financial health
We do not score finances when yearly spending is very small or the return has too little detail. The ratios stop meaning much at that size.

Governance
This organization files the short tax form, which does not ask about boards, policies or audits. That is normal for a small charity and is not a mark against it.

Impact evidence
Describes programs. Its tax return describes what it does but we have found no measurable results in it.
Programs described in its return (1)
- $53,571 spent. THE NEIGHBORHOOD HUB WAS WAVERING BETWEEN CLOSING AND WHETHER WE COULD SURVIVE AND/OR GROW. WE HAD LOST OUR OFFICE SPACE IN FEBRUARY AND NEEDED TO PLACE OUR PROPERTY IN STORAGE. OUR ONLY FUNDING AT THE TIME WAS FROM THE CITY OF MINNEAPOLIS HEALTH DEPARTMENT, AS WE WERE STILL RECRUITING RENTERS AND HOMEOWNERS FOR REFERRALS TO GET LEAD ABATEMENT FOR THEIR HOMES. FORTUNATELY, WE DECIDED TO PARTNER WITH EMERGE COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT AND REQUEST FUNDING FROM THE MINNESOTA DEPARTMENT OF EDUCATION AND ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT (DEED). WE APPLIED FOR THE TARGETED POPULATIONS GRANT, CREATING THE NORTHSIDE NEIGHBORHOOD JOBS NETWORK WITH FOUR OTHER PARTNERS. IN THE SUMMER OF 2024, WE WERE AWARDED 1,000,000. UNFORTUNATELY, IN AUGUST/SEPTEMBER OF 2024 WE LOST OUR 501(C)3 STANDING. OUR GRANT WAS SUSPENDED, UNTIL FEBRUARY 2025. WE RECEIVED OUR GRANT FUNDING AFTER OUR NON-PROFIT STANDING WAS REINSTATED RETROACTIVELY BACK THROUGH 2024. EMERGE IS OUR MENTORING ORGANIZATION WITHIN THE GRANT, PROVIDING SUPPORT, TRAINING AND ADVISEMENT TO BUILD CAPACITY AND POSITION THE NEIGHBORHOOD HUB TO GROW. OUR OTHER PARTNERS INCLUDE: AL MAA'UUN, MAN UP CLUB, AND RIVERNORTH. WE ARE FOCUSED ON PLACING COMMUNITY MEMBERS IN TRAININGS AND JOB PLACEMENT. TRAININGS INCLUDE: CERTIFIED NURSING ASSISTANT, BOILER MAINTENANCE, TRAINED MEDICAL ASSISTANT, PHLEBOTOMY, CDL, FOOD SERVICE, CONSTRUCTION, AND IT. WE CLOSED OUT 2024 BY MOVING INTO SOME EMPTY SPACE IN THE EMERGE COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT BUILDING AND POSITIONING THE ORGANIZATION TO LEARN AND GROW WITH EMERGE'S ADVISORY MENTORSHIP.
