Financial health
We do not score finances when yearly spending is very small or the return has too little detail. The ratios stop meaning much at that size.

Governance
This organization files the short tax form, which does not ask about boards, policies or audits. That is normal for a small charity and is not a mark against it.

There are ongoing projects to transfer documents and photographs to digital format for easier access and for search purposes. All of this work is performed by volunteers. The organization entered into a contract with an outside organization to restore the original blueprints for the historic library building that were prepared by a well-known Philadelphia architecture firm. The organization incurred additional costs of $4,690 in 2024. The project was completed in 2024 for a total cost of $9,010. An event was held in November, 2024, for contributors to celebrate the completion.

Regular member meetings (also open to the public at no charge) with speakers on local history topics are held on the 4th Monday of March, April, September and October. Presentations on local history are made to local organizations. The organization publishes a newsletter three times a year and maintains a website. Organization volunteers maintain the museum collection, assist visitors to the building, and respond to questions and requests for information received by mail, telephone and email. Board meetings are conducted monthly. During October, the organization offers its annual Ghost Tours of Langhorne. This is a significant fundraising event consisting of evening walking tours with a combination of local history information and ghost stories associated with the historic Langhorne homes. Other fundraising events include a Spring Tea with a speaker and an annual Strawberry festival. The organization participates in the local Garden Club's Holiday House Tour in November and hosts an afternoon with Santa in December. The museum is also open during other local events including a Harvest Day in October and a Car Show in July both sponsored by the local Business Association.
