Programs described in its return (1)
  1. $3.0 million spent. Christ's Haven For Children is a nonprofit organization centered around the core values of Normalcy, Dignity, and Hope. We are located in the North Fort Worth/Keller area and provide a trauma-informed, family model of care for displaced children, teens, and young adults. Whether a child lives at Christ's Haven for a few months or several years, we utilize that time loving them as our own and instilling normalcy, dignity, and hope into their lives. As a voluntary placement organization, Christ's Haven is an option outside of traditional foster care often when a caregiver has exhausted all efforts to care for a child. Families and kids come to Christ's Haven for a variety of reasons, but typically there has been some type of abuse, neglect, or the family is unable to take care of the child. Christ's Haven provides support and care through three programs: Residential Program (ages 0-18), College & Career Readiness Program (18-24 yrs), and the Family Resource Center, which is open to local families in need of support. Our goal is to come alongside and provide safety, love, and consistency in the hope that families can become healthy and whole again.
