Financial health

We do not score finances when yearly spending is very small or the return has too little detail. The ratios stop meaning much at that size.

Governance

This organization files the short tax form, which does not ask about boards, policies or audits. That is normal for a small charity and is not a mark against it.

  1. Hopkins Education Association is a local educator union for the Hopkins School District. We represent and support approximately 550 members (teachers, counselors, social workers, school nurses). We have four members on our team of negotiators who are responsible for negotiating a contract with district administration every two years, advocating for health insurance, salary, working conditions, benefits, and wellness of our members. Our Governing Board, who meets once each month, consists of building representatives from all school sites who are liaisons between our union leadership and members.
