Operated, maintained and improved public community building and lot in order to provide recreational areas, monthly meeting areas, and programs to the public including Annual Pancake Breakfast and Disaster Preparedness Expo, Halloween Party, and Movie Nights. This property was also used to host charitable fundraisers including the Annual Mother's Day Art festival, Woman's Club Chili Cook-off and Rock Festival. Monthly meetings included educational forums with speakers from the Huntington Beach Police Dept. and provided a venue for residents and visitors to address the recent homeless and grafitti issues. Thousands of people attended the Art Festival and Halloween Party as documented in local newspapers.
  2. Provided printed materials for monthly meetings and website for residents and visitors to be informed regarding community events open to the public and address local, city, county and state issues.
