Our largest donations are the Restoration Project Grants which are given to 501(c)3 organizations for the restoration of historic artifacts and documents dated prior to 1850. The NSDFPA provides the Golden Shield Award to recipients in the community for noteworthy contribution in historic preservation or restoration, archeology, or published works.
- $6,009 spent. The NSDFPA promotes patriotism via Service Academy Awards for Air Force, Army, Navy, Coast Guard and Merchant Marine, and sale of ROTC and JROTC medals for presentation by chapters at local schools.
- $30,412 spent. The NSDFPA promotes information exchange and provides guidance to our members regarding the mission of the Society via two board of management meetings and our annual general court each year. Reports by National Officers, Chairmen and Chapter Presidents are given at these meetings to provide highlights of the work of the Society in the community and to provide future guidance and ideas to meet the Society's mission.
