Impact evidence

Describes programs. Its tax return describes what it does but we have found no measurable results in it.

Programs described in its return (1)
  1. THE GOAL OF THE YCS FOUNDATION IS TO RAISE FUNDS TO HELP SUPPORT THE MANY PROGRAMS OF YCS, INC. RESIDENTIAL PROGRAMS ARE PROVIDED FOR CHILDREN WHO, FOR VARIOUS REASONS, CANNOT LIVE WITH THEIR FAMILIES AND ADULT PROGRAMS FOR CLIENTS WITH DDD THAT REQUIRE FULL TIME CARE. COMMUNITY PROGRAMS INCLUDE PROGRAMS THAT SERVE CHILDREN WITH EMOTIONAL AND BEHAVIORAL ISSUES AND PROGRAMS THAT HELP EQUIP FIRST TIME MOTHERS WITH PARENTING SKILLS. FINALLY, YCS SCHOOLS SERVE CHILDREN WITH EMOTIONAL, BEHAVIORAL AND FAMILY ISSUES AS WELL AS THOSE WITH AUTISM. IN BOTH CASES, THE STUDENT RECEIVES SPECIAL INDIVIDUALIZED ATTENTION THAT THEY WOULD NOT GET IN A MORE TRADITIONAL EDUCATIONAL ENVIRONMENT. THE FOUNDATION TELLS THIS STORY THROUGH A SERIES OF FUNDRAISING EVENTS THAT INCLUDE SPORTING AND FOOD TASTING AS WELL AS DIRECT OUTREACH TO INDIVIDUALS, FOUNDATIONS, AND CORPORATIONS.
