Impact evidence
Describes programs. Its tax return describes what it does but we have found no measurable results in it.
Programs described in its return (3)
- $256,269 spent. Provided dance instruction to an average of 150 students per month between the ages 4-40 years old . Instruction is divided into 5 groups (beginner, advanced children, teens and beginner and advanced adults). Students attend class approximately 10 hours per month and are taught folk dances from Mexico. They perform at various community events based on their experience.
- $8,858 spent. Our dance academy was able to provide free dance classes for 13 students that received scholarships to take classes in our dance academy. In addition, we provided all the necessary materials for the students so that they have everything they will need to succeed.
- $26,564 spent. We were able to collaborate with the Hayward Area Recreation and Park District (HARD) and the Hayward Unified School District(HUSD) to begin teaching children who do not have the financial means to pay for the monthly tuition. Approximately 124 students were provided with Ballet Folklorico classes due to grants received by HARD and HUSD. The children were able to perform what they learned at a recital at the end of each session.
