Impact evidence
Describes programs. Its tax return describes what it does but we have found no measurable results in it.
Programs described in its return (3)
- $7.1 million spent. We provide both the use or outright donation of musical instruments to various music programs across the country. These donated instruments may be used by faculty and students for performance, practice, methods or to support outreach into the community.
- $4,691 spent. We receive donations of musical instruments by generous individuals who are no longer using them. Many of these instruments are refurbished and provided at no cost to individuals who would not otherwise have the resources to purchase.
- $433,605 spent. We do not award scholarships directly to the general public. Instead, we provide resources to many of our institutional partners who in turn select and award music scholarships at their discretion. As a result of the contribution from the Foundation, students at our partner universities are given the opportunity to continue their musical education.
