Impact evidence

Describes programs. Its tax return describes what it does but we have found no measurable results in it.

Programs described in its return (2)
  1. Establishing and maintaining Vedanta houses of worship and Vedanta parsonages, and conducting religious classes, meetings, worship, and festivals at these houses, and other charitable purposes. In Fiscal Year 2023, purchased land in Warren, MI for $208,321, to be used for the present for parking for our Vedanta house of worship located in Warren MI, and in future for expansion of our Vedanta house of worship. However, since the purchase of land is considered an investment, not an expense, there is no expense listed here. We received donations of $123,320 in support of this project.
  2. $25,000 spent. Establishing and maintaining Vedanta houses of worship and Vedanta parsonages, and conducting religious classes, meetings, worship, and festivals at these houses, and other charitable purposes. In Fiscal Year 2023, we granted $25,000 to Vivekananda Retreat, Ridgely, for their operating expenses.
