Programs described in its return (3)
  1. $208,855 spent. International Program -- This program serves families of people with disabilities around the world directly through training and mobilization efforts. Guidelight provides disability-related training, offers support to families affected by disability, runs a sports-based disability program, and works in local special needs orphanages. Guidelight also comes alongside workers in other countries including Taiwan to serve a population of those experiencing disability in their outreaches. We currently have training relationships in Ukraine, Albania, Slovenia, Montenegro, and Taiwan.
  2. $211,925 spent. Retreat Program -- Guidelight provides retreats for families of people with disabilities. These retreats are provided for the families free of charge. The retreats offer refreshment and biblical encouragement for families of those experiencing disability. A balanced schedule of workshops and activities for the family, as well as for each individual, provides a refreshing and fun environment for the whole family. Retreats are hosted in partnership with local churches to serve as an outreach into the special needs community to compliment a church's existing disability ministry, or as a launch for a new disability ministry. Partnerships with like-minded organizations, individuals, and churches continue to provide powerfully restorative and transformative retreats to families affected by disability. In 2024 Guidelight hosted 5 in-person retreats. 60 families were served through retreat offerings.
  3. $101,552 spent. Training Program -- Guidelight provides training and resources to encourage churches, individuals and other organizations to get involved in disability ministry. In 2024, training events were held in which 15 churches participated and two additional language translations to the video curriculum were completed.
