Financial health

We do not score finances when yearly spending is very small or the return has too little detail. The ratios stop meaning much at that size.

Governance

This organization files the short tax form, which does not ask about boards, policies or audits. That is normal for a small charity and is not a mark against it.

Impact evidence

Describes programs. Its tax return describes what it does but we have found no measurable results in it.

Programs described in its return (2)
  1. $139,517 spent. The Bell Tower Memorial has constructed a Veterans Memorial in the Village of Pewaukee. Besides the construction costs engraved bricks were purchased for the site along with benches and flagpoles for the American flag and all the service branches. The Memorial is accessible to all Pewaukee citizens and visitors.
  2. $6,243 spent. The premier program of the Bell Tower Memorial is the Veterans Oral History Project VOHP. This program pairs High School junior with military veterans for a 30-minute interview of the veterans military service. The video of the interview is submitted to the Library of Congress in Washington DC for their Oral Histories Project. This year 12 pairs of veterans and students participated in the project. The videos are posted on the Bell Tower Memorials website for anyone to access and with the Library of Congress.
