Financial health

We do not score finances when yearly spending is very small or the return has too little detail. The ratios stop meaning much at that size.

Governance

This organization files the short tax form, which does not ask about boards, policies or audits. That is normal for a small charity and is not a mark against it.

Scholarship Program: Monetary Investment for Lactation Consultant Certification (MILCC) maintains multiple scholarship programs to provide financial assistance to qualified candidates seeking International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC ) certification, and current IBCLCs applying for recertification. The IBLCE exam is administered by the International Board of Lactation Consultant Examiners (IBLCE), in multiple countries around the world, and in a variety of languages. The number of candidates supported each year depends on the availability of funds, which come from donations and fundraising. Assistance is available to candidates who demonstrate financial need, and priority is given to those who work with underserved families. Successful applicants are awarded a full or partial scholarship for certification or recertification.
