Financial health
We do not score finances when yearly spending is very small or the return has too little detail. The ratios stop meaning much at that size.

Governance
This organization files the short tax form, which does not ask about boards, policies or audits. That is normal for a small charity and is not a mark against it.

Impact evidence
Describes programs. Its tax return describes what it does but we have found no measurable results in it.
Programs described in its return (3)
- We provide social interaction, exchange of ideas, congratulations and commiseration, and education in the craft of writing and publication via a private online forum. We also have several in-person gatherings each year at the major writer's conferences and conventions all members are invited to attend.
- All members receive a quarterly newsletter that offers additional craft education, information, and interviews with authors and others in the publishing world. It also includes notices of classes by approved non-member teachers which we host online, monitor and partially subsidize for our members.
- To create an opportunity for our members to learn first-hand about the publishing process, we have published seven anthologies of stories written by our members. The anthologies are open to all members for submissions. Stories are judged and selected by three non-member publishing professionals.

Ratings and checks are our reading of public records, using the published method. They are not a statement about anyone's honesty. If you work for this organization, you can send corrections or results, confirm you want gifts through Veridonate, or ask to be removed from giving.
