Governance

This organization files the short tax form, which does not ask about boards, policies or audits. That is normal for a small charity and is not a mark against it.

Impact evidence

Describes programs. Its tax return describes what it does but we have found no measurable results in it.

Programs described in its return (1)
  1. AOM served over 700 destitute children with access to education, provided lunches and supplies, as well as medical and dental assistance to children in school and their families depending on need. We implemented programs to assist students and caregivers, helped with job training, partnered with a community to improve their rural school and strengthened the quality of teaching. Parents were supported to learn new skills and implement new activities to improve their families' situations, working together in small parent groups. Land purchased by AOM was farmed by parent groups. Parents chose the schools that were best suited to their children's needs. AOM also provided afterschool and school break activities for the students.
