Financial health

We do not score finances when yearly spending is very small or the return has too little detail. The ratios stop meaning much at that size.

Governance

This organization files the short tax form, which does not ask about boards, policies or audits. That is normal for a small charity and is not a mark against it.

Impact evidence

Describes programs. Its tax return describes what it does but we have found no measurable results in it.

Programs described in its return (1)
  1. 1. Off Campus Housing Safety: "When Looking for a Place to Live" offers several safety tips to consider and look for when scouting out apartments. 2. Off Campus Housing Safety: "Safety in Your Apartment" offers several suggestions to help you be proactive about safety while living in your off-campus apartment. 3. Personal safety tips as well as a college campus security and safety checklist for students to use when looking at prospective colleges. C. The Lindsey M. Bonistall Research Fellowship: In 2025, three research studies were continued and completed in December 2025. Our fellowship grant projects focus on prevention and relate to the programming and important work we do at the Foundation. We believe these important studies are both truly worthwhile research projects and are excited to have supported their efforts. 1. Ms. Kamilla Bonneson (Georgia State University) completed two primary aims for her study which were to understand and combat cyber-sexual violence. This study addressed the pressing issue of non-consensual dissemination of intimate images (NCII), a form of cyber-sexual violence. 2. Mr. Andrea Mariani's (Kinsey Institute at Indiana University-Bloomington) project involved empirically testing the validity of the philosophical construct of himpathy. He demonstrated that himpathy exists and can be altered through educational interventions in order to help create campus climates in which victims of sexual assault are better supported and thus feel safer coming forward and reporting. 3. Ongoing support was issued to Dr. RaeAnn Anderson project, empowering indigenous college women to stop rape: a treatment development study to facilitate training for self-defense workshops in 2024-2025. Updates about our research projects, links to white papers, and safety tips can be found on our website, are included in our newsletter (The Lindsey Times) and located on our Facebook page. D. Social Media Campaign In 2025: With Facebook and the POC website as our main platforms, in 205, we strove to increase awareness on student safety issues related to topics such as: sexual assault, bullying, travel safety, influence of drugs and alcohol, dating violence, safety on and off campus, internet safety, and emergency services. In 2025, POC continued distributing a quarterly online Newsletter (The Lindsey Times) that highlighted safety concerns, tips and POC program updates via email to our supporters. Our social media campaign will be ongoing in 2026. E. Fundraising and Community Outreach Support were limited and are listed below: 1. FUNDRAISING/SUPPORT - 2025 POC fundraising efforts were limited in scope and relied solely on the generosity of our supporters. Over the course of 2025, POC received a total of $12385.14 in contributions to support foundation work. 2. Lindsey's Grateful Gathering: On March 23, 2025, POC hosted a community event for 200 volunteers, staff, sponsors and friends of the Foundation. 20 years of advocacy for student safety were celebrated, and programs, mission statement and accomplishments were highlighted. Funds donated associated with the event amounted to $1440.06 3. ONGOING INITIATIVES - In 2026 The Lindsey M. Bonistall Research Fellowship; The Lindsey Times Virtual Newsletter; and our social media community awareness campaign will be continued throughout the year. 4. LOOKING AHEAD 2026 - In person events will be arranged as requested. Such participation in community outreach programs such as "National Night Out" to be hosted by the White Plains Police Department will be considered for participation in August 2026. 5. POC joined and supported the College Safety Coalition in 2023 which is a collaborative of like, minded organizations making a difference through student safety initiatives, and will maintain membership in 2026. G. PEACE OUTside Campus Board of Director meetings were held in accordance with our bylaws 4 times annually, with smaller committee meetings occurring monthly during 2025.
