Financial health

We do not score finances when yearly spending is very small or the return has too little detail. The ratios stop meaning much at that size.

Governance

This organization files the short tax form, which does not ask about boards, policies or audits. That is normal for a small charity and is not a mark against it.

Impact evidence

Describes programs. Its tax return describes what it does but we have found no measurable results in it.

Programs described in its return (3)
  1. $43,740 spent. The organization sponsors the school's musical theater program which is an after school program open to all middle school students to audition in tech and acting roles. The program puts on a fall workshop as well as a spring musical. There are more than 60 children enrolled in this each year.
  2. $5,280 spent. The organization facilitates a running club which takes place as an after-school program in both fall and spring. A fee to participate is collected by the organization for all participating students, and then a majority of the fee is paid to an independent contractor who coaches the program as well as to provide shirts each student enrolled. Free or reduced entry is available for any student who wishes to participate, but to whom the fee may present a financial hardship. There are close to 85 participants each year. Up to 20% of the participants are given free or reduced entry.
  3. $4,222 spent. The organization puts on an annual picnic for all 8th grade students at the school. This is a one day event in which all 8th grade students and teachers can come together with one another and celebrate their tenure at the middle school as the students prepare to head off to high school. This is in lieu of a middle school graduation event. Over 260 students participate in this event.
