SERVICES PROVIDED INCLUDE ENT, GYN, CARDIOLOGY, GI, AND NEUROLOGY, MAKING FOLLOW-UP APPOINTMENTS EASIER FOR PATIENTS WHO HAVE BEEN SEEN AS INPATIENTS IN THE HOSPITAL. THIS ALSO HELPS REDUCE READMISSIONS.- THE HOSPITAL HAS ALSO PARTICIPATED IN THE BRIDGE NAVIGATOR PROGRAM IN COLLABORATION WITH THE CALIFORNIA DEPARTMENT OF HEALTH CARE SERVICES. THIS PROGRAM PROVIDES GRANT FUNDING TO SUPPORT THE EMERGENCY DEPARTMENT OF THE HOSPITAL TO BECOME A PRIMARY ACCESS POINT FOR THE TREATMENT OF SUBSTANCE ABUSE DISORDERS AND CO-OCCURRING MENTAL HEALTH CONDITIONS. THIS PROGRAM, WHICH STARTED IN THE SUMMER OF 2022, HAS BEEN RUNNING SUCCESSFUL SINCE AND RECEIVED ADDITIONAL GRANT FUNDING THROUGH FISCAL YEAR 2023.- IN 2022, CEDARS-SINAI EMBARKED ON A 4-YEAR REDEVELOPMENT PROJECT TO BRING A MODERN, STATE OF THE ART HOSPITAL OF THE FUTURE TO THE MARINA DEL REY COMMUNITY.
