Programs described in its return (4)
- $114,234 spent. Food Distributions:Una Vida hosts regular food distributions that serve over 1,500 people a month. Recipients of our distribution shop in-person for the grocery items of their choosing. We also offer a delivery program for people who are physically unable to make our distributions due to health or mobility differences. Our food is provided by our partnership with the Redwood Empire Food Bank, our Grocery Recovery Programs with different businesses in Sonoma County, and generosly donated by individual donors.
- Petaluma Market Hot Food and Soup:Una Vida has a special benefit for community members to receive the remaining hot food and soups from Petaluma Market every night. Five recipients of this program sign up in advance to visit at closing time each day to bring home the contents of the Petaluma Market "Hot Foods and Soup" area in their own containers. This food is for the recipient and their household and is not shared with Una Vida's food distribution programs.
- $955 spent. Community Closet:The Una Vida Community Closet is a new program that began in 2025. Our Community Closet provides clothing, shoes, and children's books and toys. People of all ages and sizes are invited to visit and shop for the items they want at no-cost. We receive an average of 400 visitors each month with hundreds of pounds of donations coming in regularly.
- Casa Grande Holiday Gift Cards:Una Vida has been providing gift cards over the holiday season for unhoused Casa Grande High School students. Community members donate gift cards or financial contributions for the purchase of gift cards. The Casa Grande High School Counseling Office receives the gift cards and shares them with the students who may not otherwise receive gifts during the holiday season.
