Financial health

We do not score finances when yearly spending is very small or the return has too little detail. The ratios stop meaning much at that size.

Governance

This organization files the short tax form, which does not ask about boards, policies or audits. That is normal for a small charity and is not a mark against it.

Impact evidence

Describes programs. Its tax return describes what it does but we have found no measurable results in it.

Programs described in its return (3)
  1. Recreational teams approximately 575 players in the spring season and 625 in the fall season. The objective of the league is to provide and avenue for both the recreational and competitive player to learn the game while improving their individual skills. We also provide services to the local schools for elementary middle ad high school for no charges. Our player registration fees for players is extremely low as we get team sponsorsfrom the community. We have the philosophy that no child is turned away if they cannot afford the fee. We give scholarships. All board members coaches and other volunteers are not paid. Only referees are paid. Most of the board have been volunteers since the inception of the club in 2004.
  2. We created 501c3 to provide soccer for the community. As there was no infrastructure of fields we fundraised and ultimately via grants donations and other through the city of Lake Wales had a soccer complex built. We provide a low cost for the entire community to have fields in Lake Wales.
  3. Previously had Tops Soccer but during pandemic discontinued.
