Impact evidence

Describes programs. Its tax return describes what it does but we have found no measurable results in it.

Programs described in its return (2)
  1. $145,979 spent. The purpose of the Arizona Office of Tourism grant is to connect the Maricopa Trail to another trail - the Sun Corridor Trail. The mission of this program was also to establish a "Trail Town Program." This program provides a nexus for greater Maricopa Trail awareness, enhanced regional connectivity, and increased quality of life as communities join in experiencing and celebrating the shared natural resource of the Maricopa Trail and its benefits. The trail is now fully constructed and maintenance of the trail has been turned over to Maricopa County.
  2. The purpose of this grant is to establish training programs to instruct individuals about vegetation and animal life in the Sonoran Desert, and also teach people how to care for and maintain trails.
