Governance

This organization files the short tax form, which does not ask about boards, policies or audits. That is normal for a small charity and is not a mark against it.

Impact evidence

Describes programs. Its tax return describes what it does but we have found no measurable results in it.

Programs described in its return (2)
  1. $95,790 spent. WE PROVIDED 3 FULL LENGTH WORKSHOPS WITH ONE-TO-ONE COACHING. TWO WORKSHOPS WERE PROVIDED TO A LOCKED FACILITY THAT WORKS WITH YOUTH WHO HAVE BEEN SEXUALLY TRAFFICKED AND ONE WORKSHOP WAS PROVIDED TO AN ALTERNATIVE HIGH SCHOOL. WE IMPACTED 22 STUDENTS AND EMPLOYED 19 TEACHING ARTISTS AND 9 INDEPENDENT CONTRACTOR ARTISTS FOR THE WORKSHOPS AND SUBSEQUENT PERFORMANCE FOR EACH WORKSHOP. WE IMPACTED 22 STUDENTS WITH OUR PROGRAM AND THE STUDENTS RECEIVED 602 HOURS OF ONE-TO-ONE WORK APPROXIMATELY 27.5 HOURS PER STUDENT. THE PERFORMANCE FOR THE ALTERNATIVE HIGH SCHOOL WAS PERFORMED AT THE NEARBY LOCAL LIBRARY BRANCH AND WAS ATTENDED BY APPROXIMATELY 40 PEOPLE AND WAS OPEN AND AVAILABLE TO THE PUBLIC FREE OF CHARGE. THE COMBINED PERFORMANCE FOR THE 16 SAGE STUDENTS WAS IN THE LOCKED FACILITY AND WAS BY INVITATION ONLY AS THE FACILITY IS KEPT SECRET FOR THE SAFETY OF THE STUDENTS. THEIR PERFORMANCE WAS ATTENDED BY 35 FAMILY AND FRIENDS OF THE STUDENTS.
  2. $52,823 spent. DUE TO SCHEDULING CONFLICTS AND CASH FLOW ISSUES WE WERE UNABLE TO FACILITATE A SHOWCASE OF STUDENT WORK OR HOST OUR 24 HOUR PLAY-A-THON. THE MAJORITY OF OUR FUNDRAISING PROGRAM EXPENSES CAN BE ATTRIBUTED TO THE SALARY FOR OUR PART-TIME DEVELOPMENT DIRECTOR AND SHARED EXPENSES LIKE OFFICE RENT THAT ARE SPLIT BETWEEN ADMIN PROGRAM AND FUNDRAISING. WE ARE HOPEFUL TO HAVE A FUNDRAISING EVENT THAT SHOWCASES STUDENT WORK IN NOVEMBER 2025 AND WE INTEND TO RESUME OUR 24 HOUR PLAY-A-THON AND HOPEFULLY IT WILL RAISE MONEY IN LATE JUNE 2026.
