Impact evidence
Describes programs. Its tax return describes what it does but we have found no measurable results in it.
Programs described in its return (3)
- $145,368 spent. Provided important information to members related to the manufacturing industry and workforce development including: Daily briefing, a bi-weekly newsletter, newsletters on workforce and energy, risk management, lean six sigma and more. held in person and virtual meetings for HR professionals, safety and health professionals and CEOs. This information and these networks were particularly valuable as the pandemic unfolded and we were able to help our essential businesses keep their employees safe and their operations running.
- Assisted members in the recruitment of workers and helped them close the skills gap. We run a NYS Department of Labor approved apprentice program and have a regional manufacturing jobs board. Shifted to virtually connecting with students to promote careers in STEM and manufacturing.
- Provide essential training to members and employees in the areas of leadership development, supervisor training, lean and six sigma, COVID response, GD&T, Blueprint reading, OSHA compliance and RCRA compliance and more.
