Financial health
We do not score finances when yearly spending is very small or the return has too little detail. The ratios stop meaning much at that size.

Governance
This organization files the short tax form, which does not ask about boards, policies or audits. That is normal for a small charity and is not a mark against it.

Impact evidence
Describes programs. Its tax return describes what it does but we have found no measurable results in it.
Programs described in its return (3)
- $8,204 spent. As part of Lincoln Center's programming, the BRC ORCHESTRA performed a selection of hits from our "Rock 'n' Roll Reparations" compilation series at the David Rubenstein Atrium. With Musical Director Marcus Machado and an ensemble of 10 top-tier musicians, we played to a full house of diverse, citywide citizens.
- $7,282 spent. To serve our BRC COMMUNITY, we celebrated our 40th Anniversary with a Founders's Day Party and performance at National Sawdust in Williamsburg. Five artists featured on our "Rock 'n' Roll Reparations, Volume 5" compilation performed (Key Hutch, Honeychild Coleman, Faith NYC, KimberlyNichole, and Corey Glover) with DJ Logic spinning between sets. There were over 150 people in attendance as well as those who participated online. We tabled at the Punk Island zine fest where we connected with hundreds of attendees who also champion the DIY spirit. We enlisted DJ Logic, DJ Sugarfree BK, Binky Griptite, and the Bernie Worrell Orchestra to help celebrate our dearly-departed Board Member Bernie Worrell's birthday at Nublu on the Lower East Side. We also, again, helped facilitate funding for Santa Barbara Culture House's Black History Month programming. Over the course of the month, they hosted multiple musical and educational events that engaged over 350 people in the spirit of collective appreciation and opportunity.
- $93 spent. We further celebrated our 40th Anniversary with the release of "Rock 'n' Roll Reparations, Volume 5," the latest in our compilation series (a BRC RECORDS effort that launched in 2005). Available as a free download on Bandcamp, it features original music from 23 global artists as voted on by 5 multi-disciplinary judges. As a digital-exclusive release, it has been heard by people around the world who can now further support the artists beyond the collection.
