Accordingly, the Landstar Scholarship Fund seeks to foster educational opportunities for the children of the business capacity owners and their employees. The program has since been expanded to include children of employees of the Landstar affiliated companies, and sales agents of Landstar. Sales agents are independent agents and are not employees of Landstar System, Inc. The awards are based on academic merit and/or financial need.
