Financial health

We do not score finances when yearly spending is very small or the return has too little detail. The ratios stop meaning much at that size.

Governance

This organization files the short tax form, which does not ask about boards, policies or audits. That is normal for a small charity and is not a mark against it.

Impact evidence

Describes programs. Its tax return describes what it does but we have found no measurable results in it.

Programs described in its return (4)
  1. $2,902 spent. Our Summer Reading Adventure is our largest individual special program and we had more than 500 families participate this past year. We have special presenters, fun programs, and incentives and rewards for reading. The purpose of the program is to prevent summer slide, which is loss of learning while school is not in session but we have programs for the whole family.
  2. $2,612 spent. Throughout the year we have ongoing programs for our patrons, including holiday themed activities like Hallowpalloza, weekly prescoll and bilingual story time, Brick Builders using legos, game days and many others. As a total they are our second highest expenditure.
  3. $2,327 spent. Our third largest expenditure this year was our book replacement program. We provide replacement books so that the library collection is kept in good condition for the patrons who borrow them.
  4. $1,325 spent. This year we provided an After School snack for our school aged patrons, tying it in with fun and educational activities for them to enjoy while eating a snack after school
