- MARDI GRAS OF SWLA GUMBO COOK-OFF - THE KREWE ENTERS THREE TEAMS EACH YEAR IN VARIOUS CATEGORIES INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO AMATEUR AND PROFESSIONAL DIVISIONS OF CHICKEN AND SAUSAGE, WILD GAME AND SEAFOOD CATEGORIES.
