THE POMS MISSION IS THREE PRONGED: 1)TO OPERATIONALLY AND LOGISTICALLY SUPPORT THE BELMONT PUBLIC SCHOOLS' MUSIC PROGRAM, ITS TEACHERS AND PARTICIPATING FAMILIES AND STUDENTS, GRADES K-12. 2)TO FINANCIALLY BE IN A POSITION TO COVER MUSIC EDUCATION-RELATED EXPENSES NOT COVERED BY THE SCHOOL BUDGET, THAT ARE NEEDFUL TO KEEP THE SCHOOL MUSIC PROGRAMS TO A HIGH STANDARD. 3)TO CHAMPION MUSIC EDUCATION IN THE PUBLIC SCHOOLS TO THE BELMONT COMMUNITY.
