THESE EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMS PROVIDE AN EFFECTIVE FORUM FOR MEMBERS TO LEARN FROM INDUSTRY EXPERTS, OBTAIN UP TO THE MINUTE RILA RESEARCH, AND TO INTERACT WITH THEIR PEERS. SOME OF THE AREAS ADDRESSED INCLUDE LOGISTICS, LEGAL, LEADERSHIP, SAFETY AND LOSS PREVENTION. THESE CONFERENCES PROVIDE OVER 3,500 ATTENDEES WITH A BLEND OF OVER 100 EDUCATIONAL SESSIONS, PROMINENT SPEAKERS, AND EXHIBITS.
- RILA PROMOTES THE INTERESTS OF RETAILERS AT ALL LEVELS OF GOVERNMENT. THE GOVERNMENT RELATIONS STAFF AT RILA, TOGETHER WITH RETAIL AND SUPPLIER MEMBERS, IDENTIFY KEY ISSUES THAT IMPACT BUSINESS AND WORK TO ENSURE THAT PUBLIC POLICY, AT BOTH THE FEDERAL AND STATE LEVEL, FOSTERS A SUCCESSFUL AND PROFITABLE BUSINESS ENVIRONMENT.
- THE ASSOCIATION OFFERS MORE THAN 40 LEADERS COUNCILS AND SPECIALTY COMMITTEES THAT ADDRESS SPECIFIC, CRITICAL DISCIPLINES IN THE INDUSTRY.
