Financial health

We do not score finances when yearly spending is very small or the return has too little detail. The ratios stop meaning much at that size.

Governance

This organization files the short tax form, which does not ask about boards, policies or audits. That is normal for a small charity and is not a mark against it.

Impact evidence

Describes programs. Its tax return describes what it does but we have found no measurable results in it.

Programs described in its return (1)
  1. During fiscal year 2025, FODE cleaned up pool grounds, and completed landscaping projects. Continue working with the City of Austin on water quality issues typical of managing a spring fed public pool. Also working with the City of Austin on new lane lines, and parking issues. FODE is expanding to include adjacent Eilers Park as part of FODE responsibilities through a "Vision" committee to help navigate the many changes to the Austin landscape, and the vicinity near Deep Eddy Pool.
