What it says it does

The Wilmot Learning Place (WLP) is a preschool that offers an introduction to education for three, four and five year-old children. WLP recognizes the importance of providing a loving and warm environment to enhance individual growth and development. WLP seeks to instill a love for learning by providing a positive, enjoyable educational experience for each child. Financial health

We do not score finances when yearly spending is very small or the return has too little detail. The ratios stop meaning much at that size.

Governance

This organization files the short tax form, which does not ask about boards, policies or audits. That is normal for a small charity and is not a mark against it.

Impact evidence

Describes programs. Its tax return describes what it does but we have found no measurable results in it.

Programs described in its return (1)
  1. $132,798 spent. Classroom offerings include three-day and five-day pre-kindergarten programs and two-day, three-day and five-day preschool programs. A combination of organized teaching methods along with a variety of 'free' activities contributes to the social, intellectual, emotional and physical development of each child. Pre-reading, pre-math, science and social studies subjects are introduced. All these subjects are reinforced through crafts, songs, games and hands-on activities. Our goal is to prepare the children with the basic skills, independence and enthusiasm they will need as they enter kindergarten. Learning and fun go hand in hand at Wilmot Learning Place.
