The Family Violence Prevention Specialist program began in 1998 as a coordinated effort between the Coalition and the Division for Children, Youth, and Families DCYF. Family Violence Prevention Specialists FVPSs are employed by local member agencies of the Coalition, and are co-located at local DCYF District Offices.
